The brush pens Brushables belong to the ZIG Memory system series, which are designed to be used for scrabooking, journaling and making cards etc. The ink is therefore water-based pigment ink so that it will last in the long term. Photo-safe, acid-free, odorless, archive-resistant and lightfast. This in turn means that the ink is not water soluble and is not overly good as watercolors, blending etc, but in turn other pens cannot dissolve the color which makes these good colors if you want to write with fineliner on them.
