Acrylic blocks are used with clear stamps, silicone stamps that need a stable base when you stamp. The blocks are made of transparent plastic with guide lines, which makes it easy to position the motifs correctly. Available in a variety of sizes.

An obvious tool for those who stamp in Bullet Journal, scrapbooking or card making.

A few tips along the way

About Acrylic blocks

Clear stamps are made of silicone and normally stick to acrylic blocks on their own. Over time, the surface of the stamps may dry out or become less sticky, especially if exposed to sunlight or cleaned with harsh chemicals.

Then you can use 2 component glue to stick the stamps on. It is a dual-purpose glue with two different modes:

  • When the glue is blue, it will be permanent if you stick it directly. The stamp will stick to the acrylic block forever. Not a good idea.
  • But if you wait until the glue becomes transparent, it works like a post-it note. The stamp sticks to the acrylic block during stamping but comes off easily afterwards.
