Gelli Arts is an American company founded by two women, Lou Ann and Joan. They have completely different backgrounds where Lou Ann has been active in the hobby genre for many years with several different companies. She already started a company in the 80s where she produced stamps. Since then, she has had a ride with other companies and also held a lot of workshops on various topics within mixed media.

Joan, on the other hand, comes from the corporate world where she has for many years developed new products and launched them. They describe themselves as different hemispheres of the brain with Lou Ann having the creative know-how. Joan has the knowledge to develop products.

They put their brains together and have succeeded in developing incredibly good products in gel printing!
