What is patterned paper? Background paper – or patterned paper – is often used in scrapbooking, journaling and card making. It comes in a variety of thicknesses and designs, and some are patterned on both sides, others only on one. It works just as well as Dutch doors in a Bullet Journal as it does for layered effects in a scrapbooking project. About paper quality and GSM GSM indicates the thickness of the paper: – 80 GSM is standard printer paper. – 200–250 GSM is common for scrapbooking. – 300 GSM is rigid cardboard In our range you will usually find papers closer to 200 GSM or more.
