Acrylic pens

Acrylic Pens - opaque pens that work on colored paper

Acrylic pens use acrylic paint instead of traditional ink. The paint forms a layer on the paper, resulting in minimal ghosting, meaning it doesn't show through to the other side of the paper. It also covers colored paper such as kraft and black, and colors can be built up layer by layer, as long as the previous layer has dried. Perfect for crafts, coloring, and decoration where you want pens that truly provide opaque coverage. Adheres to most surfaces.

A few tips along the way

About Acrylic pens

The differences between the different brands in our range:

  • Acrylograph from Archer & Olive - Acrylic pens with fairly thin tips. Specially designed for use in notebooks and Bullet Journals. The pens often have beautiful, gentle colors. Natural tones. Packaging is combined based on the season of the year, with incredibly beautiful color combinations.
  • Pigment Decobrush from Karin Markers - Karin Markers is primarily a manufacturer of brush pens. These pens have fairly large brush tips. Available in lots of colors! Good for brush lettering and coloring.
  • Posca and Sharpie Creative Markers - Posca is probably considered the classic among acrylic pens. Designed for creative projects and art. Sharpie feels similar, in colors and design. We have a limited range of these. The pens are more robust, classic color scales, not the same adaptation to notebooks and brush lettering.
