Derwent Water Soluble Sketching - 4B pencil from the British brand Derwent. A 4B graphite pencil that produces soft, dark grey lines and a medium-dark wash when used with water. Ideal for sketching, shading, and tonal transitions.

Derwent Water Soluble Sketching features soft, even graphite that can be used both dry and with water. A damp brush dissolves the graphite, allowing it to be blended into soft, watercolor-like grey tones. The graphite can also be blended, mixed, and erased when dry.

The pencil has a 4 mm graphite core that can be sharpened to a fine point for detailed work. The graphite is lightfast, with the highest rating of 8 out of 8 on the Blue Wool scale.

Made in England.
