Uni Pin - pens with waterproof, light-fast pigment ink

Uni Pin is a series of pens from Japanese Uni Mitsubishi pencil . The pens have waterproof, lightfast pigment ink that does not fade over time. Perfect for artists, illustrators and popular for use in Bullet Journals . The pigment ink gives clean, clear lines that last. You can also combine with water-soluble techniques such as watercolor painting.

Uni Pin comes in three different tip types depending on what you are going to use them for. Read more about the differences below under Some tips for the road.

About Uni pin

What types of tips are there and what are they used for?

  • Uni Pin Fineliner- Classic fineliners with a variety of line widths. From extremely thin 0.03 to wide 1.2. Great for detailed work, sketches and drawings.
  • Uni Pin Brush- Brush pens, small tip and in four different colors, as well as a black one with an extra fine tip. Good for brush lettering and headings.
  • Uni Pin Chisel- Oblique flat tips in two sizes 1.0 and 2.0. Good for calligraphy.

Can I use Uni Pin with watercolor?
Yes, the ink is waterproof and once it has dried you can paint over it with watercolor without it dissolving.
