Great beginner pens for hand lettering

The Brush Sign Pen SES15C is a really good brush pen from Pentel. These are lovely and popular brush pens in nice colors that feel comfortable in your hand when you write. The nib is small, soft, and very durable, made of hard-wearing nylon. You vary the line width by the pressure you apply to the pen when writing.

Also very good all-round pens for more detailed writing, headings and illustrations. The ink is water-based pigmented ink and rarely bleeds through on the paper (of course it also depends on the paper).
