What is the difference between the formats?
- A5 - The most common format for a Bullet Journal
- B5 - Slightly larger, providing more writing space and room for creative embellishments
- A6, B6 and Slim - Small notebooks. Great for a handbag or as a travel diary.
- A4 - Substantially large notebooks. Good for projects that require space. Can be made into extremely beautiful keepsakes such as a Baby's First Year book, Wedding Planner, memory book, etc.
What does 160 GSM mean and why is it important?
160 GSM means that the paper is thicker and can withstand more creative work without it showing through on the other side. It is a more forgiving paper if you want to paint, use wetter pens, or cut the paper to create fun spreads.
The drawback is that the higher the GSM, the fewer pages there are in the notebook. It would quickly turn into a brick-like size and weight if it had as many pages as classic notebooks. You can read more about GSM here.
Will out-of-stock notebooks be replenished? We truly try to restock regularly and be quick when new releases come out. However, Archer & Olive works with limited series that are released and produced in batches. When a series sells out with them, it is usually gone forever. Instead, they regularly release new beautiful series.
Often, we don't even have time to purchase before they are out of stock in their own warehouses. This can result in us receiving a new series, but not in the obvious formats that one would expect to be available. Both we and you as a customer may need to act quickly. Unfortunately, you cannot expect items to remain in our stock moving forward. Their assortment is truly dynamic; new series can sell out as quickly as they come in.
