When choosing a notebook, the thickness of the paper actually matters more than you might think. The weight of the paper is measured in GSM (grams per square meter) . The higher the number, the thicker the paper and usually less risk of bleed-through or ghosting.
Bleed-through means that the ink goes through to the other side.
Ghosting means that the text is faintly visible from the other side, even if the ink does not penetrate.
In the video, we test notebooks with different GSM: 70, 80, 90, 100, 120 and 160. The same three pens are used in all of them: gel pen , fineliner and brush pen , so you can clearly see how the paper reacts.
Midori and Stálogy are also included in the test, but they do not have a GSM label.
The notebooks are available in our range. You can easily filter by GSM when looking for the feel you like best.
